Genelines helps by allowing
you to merge two direct line charts, showing the common ancestor
for two distant cousins. In the following example, you know that
two cousins have married in your family line, but the relationship
to each other is unclear and you want to avoid entering duplicate
information in your database. With this merged direct line chart
it’s easy to see how the cousins are related i.e. the father
is a descendant of Bernard Gaudet’s first daughter, and the
mother is a descendant of Bernard’s second daughter.
